Caterpillar Update & Frogs!

Hello Families!

This week something exciting happened to our caterpillars, they made cocoons! The students really loved being able to first look at the caterpillars and then see how much they changed. It was a great way to really bring our butterfly life cycle lesson to life! We're so excited to have them emerge.

This week we learned all about frogs! We completed and identified our new vocabulary words, sorted frogs by size, labeled the parts of a frog, completed a mini fact book and did a comprehension check in! Everyone was engaged and enjoyed reading about frogs and hearing their ribbits!

Our group game was split into levels- two students played "Sight Word Zingo" and two students played "Letter Match BINGO". It was a great way to make sure each child was able to play an appropriate leveled game. They did a great job using their words and pictures to take turns.

Next, we'll be learning about the frog life cycle. I'm excited for them to see all the changes they go through just like butterflies!

Have a great week!
Miss Feeley
