Butterfly Release & Ducks!

Hello Families!

Last week we were so busy learning new things AND we were able to release our butterflies outside in the courtyard. We had a blast and it was a beautiful day too! Some friends let the butterflies land on their hands before flying away too, while others were happy to just watch them fly 😊

Last week we learned about ducks! It was fun to learn about the different parts of a duck, what they eat, when baby ducklings are born, and that they can fly AND swim! We worked in our journals and did vocabulary, sorting by size, labeled a diagram of a duck, completed a mini-book of facts and did a comprehension check-in.

We have all been taking advantage of the beautiful weather and have gone out for some extra recess. As you can tell by these happy faces, they were in full support of extra time outside!!
