Walrus Wiggle!

February 8, 2019

Hello Families and Friends!

This week we learned all about the walrus! Each student did their vocabulary page, labeled the parts of a walrus, sorted them by size and then made a mini-fact book. We wrapped up the week with a comprehension check-in. The students have done a great job learning their new vocabulary and utilizing it appropriately. Next week we'll be learning about the Arctic fox.

On Tuesday we were able to go outside and enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather. Everyone was so happy to be outside in the fresh air!

On Wednesday we celebrated our 100th day of school. We did some fun activities as a classroom. Each student had 10-frames and they filled each square with finger prints, stickers or marker marks to represent 100. They had a lot of fun getting their hands dirty!

Have a great weekend,
