Flat Stanley's Weekend Adventures

Hello Friends and Families!

The kids have really enjoyed reading the adapted chapter book, "Flat Stanley". Throughout the book we've been using actual objects or smaller representations to help support comprehension and understanding. Last week we introduced the new vocabulary of the week, wrote sentences (tactile or hand written) to summarize the chapter and then did a comprehension check-in!

I'm happy to report that ALL students are currently participating in inclusion opportunities daily! There's been so many positive peer interactions and friends made!

Thank you families for participating in our Flat Stanley adventure! It was so sweet to our friends captured in your weekend activities! It looked like everyone had fun. Here are some of the pictures shared....

Don't forget: ****Picture Day is this Thursday!***

A BIG thank you to all the parents for continuing to fill out the form of what your child did last night. It really helps for your child to have something to share during their grade level morning meeting. I really appreciate it!

Have a great day,
Miss Feeley
