Hello Families and Friends!

Last week we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday & Read Across America Day! We first learned about who Dr. Seuss was and what he accomplished. The students were really engaged while learning different facts about Dr. Seuss. We read some of his popular books with connecting activities and then a News-2-You article "Read Across America Day".

A favorite book for us was definitely Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You? We read an adapted version of it and then completed an activity where an animal sound would be played and then they had to identify the animal who makes it.

On Thursday, we read Green Eggs & Ham and then did a fun counting activity where the students had to make their own painted green eggs and ham!

This week we are going to be reading the story A Very Hungry Caterpillar and complete connecting activities. Then we'll move on to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly and frogs too.

Hope everyone has a great day and week!
Miss Feeley
